This...this is something? I am surprised this group has this many members now. I originally made this group just to have some kind of listing in my groups list on my deviantART page and because I like the little Muro program. But of course, if you build (create) it, they will (eventually) come. What will we do when we reach a 100 members? I'm sure I will feel obligated to do something. For now let us bask in our minor accomplishment.

It has come to my attention that you can collaborate with other artists on deviantART using Muro. More specifically you can color lineart in Muro and with proper credit can submit such works onto deviantART. There is even a group for artists that just like to color lineart known as color-me-club. Well I can't deny such artists so for the time being I have accommodated them with the Collaborations folder. As always categorization is left up to me, just please indicate in the deviation that it is a collaboration or colored lineart.

Thank you.
I decided to remove the "Ungraded" folder as I found it to be fairly redundant. Everyone can just submit directly to the "Doodle" folder and await categorizations from there. Basically if it's good enough we'll move it out and up.

So it has been really nice seeing more and more muro work flowing into our midst lately. I sincerely thank everyone for their contributions to this group. I was quite surprised to see we now have over 30 members in this group, especially since the only promotion of this group in existence is the mere link from the groups list on my user page. I know that's sad, however truth be told this a passive group to place my muro work into, something a little more refined than others.

But I do check on this group at least once a day to see if anything new has popped in, categorize it, and then move on with my schedule. Unfortunately I have frequently encountered a personal conflict with grading submissions and I just want some feedback from our members concerning their work here on MuroMuse. Do you find the gradings fair? Do you object to it's ultimate categorization? What do you think of the current placement of entries in our gallery? Basically, what do you think of this group?

No one ever says anything here, I figure with the handful of us now that there would be some comments by now. Please take the opportunity to post them now. Thank you.

About Us:

We are a diverse digital art group that features various levels of skill executed with only DeviantArt muro. Our basis for this group is to advocate progressive development in technique with this tool by providing a competitive tiered environment for our members. We invite the community to contribute whatever they have created with muro however we encourage them to use all of their effort in each piece.

The rules are simple, please read:

• Respect and be respected - this is the holy golden rule, please abide by it. Thank you.

• It is obvious that in this group that you are only allowed to use DeviantArt muro.
We only appreciate work created within muro not pasted into it. Thanks.

• Your submissions are subject to approval and then catagorized based on our skill
level system. Please view our galleries to learn more about how we operate.

• Please do not be offended by the outcome of the categaorization ultimately selected
for your submission(s). As a member, upon joining you agreed to this. Otherwise
please do not bother joining if you can not handle the concept of this group.

• Fear not, we would be happy to critique your work if desired to help you improve on
future attempts. But please don't beg for comments.

• Do NOT perform secondary edits to your muro creations in other image editing
software! It defeats the purpose of the muro only rule.

• Oh one of the most important rules of them all; you have to have artwork in your
gallery that you created with DeviantArt muro.

That's pretty much it, not many rules to break since we pretty much control the majority
of the game. But we appreciate some common sense to make our jobs easier.

Thank you!

I was reading through you're group information and have a question.  I use da muro as my editing software, I upload my sketch and rework them in muro, so would that qualify for this group?

How do you submit to a specific folder?
ebonred Featured By Owner Oct 15, 2013   Digital Artist
There is no specific folder, it's a tiered system. Members can only submit to the Doodles folder. The admins (which is only me atm) then review the work and move it to the appropriate folder they feel it deserves. I apologize though as I'm quite behind in grading all the work in the doodles folder.
